Poor Beings

They say there’s no mountain too high. They say there’s no ocean too deep. Who defines height and depth really? Can darkness be even darker? Do you find emptiness in a void?

Perceptions and subjectivity. Decisions and mentality. They define the immeasurable. They make a human, being who he is, not what he should be. Conformities and influences. They model mankind, shaping their future.

Who can resist? Humans merely become mindless beings, engineered by external forces. Think about a bulldozer without its driver, rampant in the open fields, adding only devastations. What are left are only ashes.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, but humans to whom?
