Lovely Christmas, Lonely Christmas
Was chilling at Starbucks a couple of days ago and decided to write a simple song for Christmas; a song for those out there who are probably feeling just like I am. =)
Lovely Christmas
Yet lonely Christmas
The snows are falling
And the wind howling
I see people walking
Hand in hand and smiling
Why am I sitting here
Alone in my rocking chair
Where is my Santa Claus
Where are my reindeers
Lovely Christmas
Yet lonely Christmas
Friends exchanging presents
But I’m lost in my present
Thinking of yesterday
Fearing my tomorrow
I tried smiling
Even when there’s no one beside me
My tears are falling
But I’ve learnt not too feel a thing anymore
Lovely Christmas
Why care if I’m lonely
The snowman’s waving
Children singing Christmas carols
My heart starts melting
And I am smiling
Lovely Christmas
Why care if we’re alone
Can’t you see the snowman’s waving
Hear the children singing
And we can start smiling
Lovely Christmas
Yet lonely Christmas
The snows are falling
And the wind howling
I see people walking
Hand in hand and smiling
Why am I sitting here
Alone in my rocking chair
Where is my Santa Claus
Where are my reindeers
Lovely Christmas
Yet lonely Christmas
Friends exchanging presents
But I’m lost in my present
Thinking of yesterday
Fearing my tomorrow
I tried smiling
Even when there’s no one beside me
My tears are falling
But I’ve learnt not too feel a thing anymore
Lovely Christmas
Why care if I’m lonely
The snowman’s waving
Children singing Christmas carols
My heart starts melting
And I am smiling
Lovely Christmas
Why care if we’re alone
Can’t you see the snowman’s waving
Hear the children singing
And we can start smiling
